Nomad Platform Bed Our Platform bed is made of solid hardwood (tulipwood) and is made by the good folks at Knockdown Frameworks in Athens, Georgia. The headboard is optional, so the bed can be very affordable. It's sanded and ready-to-finish! We can also order finished Beechwood platform beds from Ocean Imports.
